This is a lot of personality in one 6x6-inch painting!  The pinnacle "if not friend, why friend shaped" large cats continue to entertain with their playful, house-cat nature!  This was a huge joy for me to paint these lost & found edges, and the distinct patterning on the face. Check out that little highlight on his/her lip! 

If not for the cage, moats, and other barriers at zoos, I would ABSOLUTELY be trying to pet one of them. Let's hope this artist never encounters a wild cat while plein air painting - for my own good!

Painted using Wax Medium for a satin finish and maximum brush texture. The edges of this ¾-inch cradled panel are painted in a metallic gold finish, and the panel is wired so you can hang with/without a frame.
