A rare fling with acrylics! I find water based media exciting in its immediacy, and I enjoy the occasional affair - but oil will always be my true love.

Frida became a major influence after I learned her horrowing life story.  I feel kindred to her struggles around disability due to my own spine condition. She represents a inspiring force of determination and will I hope to live up to in my own way.
